POETRY | Alberto Masala

A poet and a performer, Alberto Masala was born in Sardinia in 1950. He is a “today’s artist with roots”.
His mother tongue is “logudorese” (a variety of Sardinian) but the language of his poetry can be defined as an original “border language”.

He has shared the stage with many internationally acclaimed poets and is currently working with vocalists Antonio Are and Miriam Palma, artists Fabiola Ledda and Anton Roca and poets Serge Pey and Hawad. He is director of several cultural and art festivals such as the Asuni Poetry Festival
