Le Simplegadi – en

Le Simplegadi

It is an online academic and refereed journal that began publishing in 2003. The journal focuses on innovative academic research in various fields of modern languages and literatures.

Le Simplegadi is an academic journal that selects contributions through an anonymous peer-review process. The journal’s scientific committee is composed of international experts in various fields of contemporary languages and literatures. The journal publishes innovative contributions that promote “egalitarian” and collaborative principles and practices towards individuals, societies, literatures, and cultures from multiple perspectives and theoretical bases (“hybridization” of languages and literatures, migrant writing, intercultural and transcultural identities, postcolonial studies, and related areas). The primary aim of the journal is to propose critical and conscious resistance to hegemonic and hierarchical cultural models, while proactively promoting alternative and feasible models of mutual practices and partnerships.

Le Simplegadi is published exclusively online on an annual basis, on November 30. The journal is free of charge, and individual contributions or the entire issue can be downloaded directly by accessing the journal’s website. The journal aims to reach a wide international audience of scholars and university students and welcomes contributions in various languages.

All contributions are subjected to anonymous peer review by experts in the specific research field. Those who wish to submit a contribution to the journal are asked to carefully read the editorial notes and submit only original contributions that have not been previously published online or in print.

Le Simplegadi is currently under review for inclusion in international databases.
